Pygmalion and Galatea

Had some fun (relatively) with this, finally. The brief for the assignment was pretty much "Perfection. 8"x10", full colour. See you next week". I don't know why I invest so much time and care on pieces that I don't have any time to put time or care into, but I actually managed to get it in on time (at cost of falling behind in Life Drawing and Graphic Design). Done some minor editing to try fixing the lights in the robo-bin and clean up the sketch from the effects of a dirty scanner bed. Still haven't figured out how to fix the top monitors on the right to make them look like they're tilting down instead of being trapezoidal.

Anyways, it's a Cyberpunk take on the Greek legend of Pygmalion and Galatea. At least I hope the punk got across, I'm worried it's ended up as some nerd pining after a creepy statue of his waifu. Liked it an awful lot after I finished, but now I sure don't. Have the test-printing and original graphite at 150% hanging on my wall all the same.
