Weapon illustrations for Legacy of Mana, being Sky Elf pistols; a flintlock, a blunderbuss pistol and a wheellock. Ammunition, scouring stick and winding key besides.
wow, i didn't even know what a wheel-lock was until i saw this (which made me ask prof. google). why didn't you have one of those in your elven long arms? anyway, great job.
PS: IMHO both these and the long-arms looks more like dwarven craftmanship.
Didn't have one in the long arms because it wasn't asked for. Not sure what their stats are in the DnD system, so even just fluffing a wheellock musket (like I did with the two gonnes) wouldn't have been a good idea, especially considering time and size constraints.
As for them looking Dorfish, that depends on the setting. This setting has Dorfs but they aren't detailed in the part we're working on. What I wanted with Elvish materičl was post-Medieval designs built using Medieval sensibilities. The Renaissance man was way more advanced than the Medieval man, like Elves are to Humans, and I figured that would work well enough. The setting was described to me as post-apocalyptic fantasy, and I stuck with more historical influences for my work.
