Eric Toner
Artist | Student | Traditional Art
Boring guy from a rural town;
no achievement, no renown.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy my work. Here's wishing well to you.

On Tumblr:
Read the flyer here for prices.

You can check out the four samples I prepared in greater detail here:
Cropped body, toned shades, simple background.
Cropped body, full colour, basic background.
Full body, lineart, simple background.

Browse work I've done for previous patrons in the Commissionarium.

•Application: Send me a message with all the details of the piece you'd like done. Don't forget to include whatever descriptions, reference images or links you think I might need to get it right! If you want more than one piece done, it's best if you send a separate message for each one.
•Confirmation: If I pick up your commission, I'll send a confirmation letter with some clarifying questions if they're needed, and a quote for the cost of the project.
•Initiation: Upon acceptance of my quote, please send me 50% of the quoted fee. Payment to be received within three days or I will conclude you have changed your mind and will not proceed with your order. Once the payment is received, I will confirm that you're on my list.
•Communication: I'll send you a note when I reach your name in the queue. When I have a rough sketch of your piece, I'll send it along for your review. You can give me input about corrections, adjustments, that sort of thing. It'll be your last chance before I move on to the final. If there's nothing to fix, please still send a response so I know you approve of the design.
•Illustration: At this stage I work on producing the final. You can request updates on how things are going, and I'll send over the work-in-progress.
•Revelation: When I'm finished, I'll send you a thumbnail image as proof the piece is finished. When you receive it, send the rest of the payment owing, if any. When I receive that, I'll ship over two copies of the image: one high-res (1280px on the long side), the other more display-friendly (800px long). .jpg or .png files are available to your preference.

Make sure commissions are opened before you send in an application, and be patient as I tarry.

I accept payment through Pay Pal in $CAD.
If you cancel the commission before I begin initial sketches, it's a full refund. If you cancel while I'm working on the initial sketches, I'll refund 90% of the total fee. If you cancel while I'm working on the final, I'll refund 50% of the total fee. If there's a reason that I can't finish the piece, I will refund your total deposit.

These are for personal, noncommercial use. Print one out for your wall, share it with your friends, but don't sell them to someone else. If you'd like to post them up to your own gallery, use the display version. In the description of the piece, do please credit me (it would be appreciated of you could post some links back to my gallery, too).

I'll post the finished work to the specified gallery on Deviantart and a connecting link on Tumblr. If you'd rather not have your name on it as credit for commissioning the piece, I'll list you as anonymous. If you do want your name on it, you can opt whether to not to have links back to your profile page.

If you'd prefer to hire me for commercial freelance work, you can contact me along the same channels provided below.

All orders must be sent by way of note or e-mail to:

Please remember to title your message 'Commission'.

I keep thinking I'm one of your watchers, and then I find out I'm not. Many apologies for this gross incompetence on my part. You are now being Watched!
